Adult Tails

Finally Finished the Color version of this picture. I tried to line it myself but sai closed as I was saving, ruining my progress. I had Re=do the lines for me since I was drained from spending ours lining it. I cleaned up the color, lined, and shaded it.

As for the change in the gloves, the previous design I intended was absolutely lazy. They were supposed to be power gloves made from Raw materials, running over a minirature Chaose reactor Tails made, seeing he can develop a replica chaos emerald he must have some knowledge of harnessing said power. I increased the size of his pony tail as well. Hope you like everyone and sorry for the lack of uploads recently. My situation has barely improved since my accident. Hope you all enjoy!

( I also increased his age for specific reasons. I intended for him to be 16 but because of the fact he'd become involved Romantically with Fiona, the idea could be looked down upon due to Tails being a minor )

Tails Now 18, 7 years later from age 11, when this starts .

In my mind, a twisted turn of events come to my imagination. This concept of mine follows the sonic universe comic and events mixed in from some of the Video Games.

After Fiona Fox revives destructix, they free Scourge from the prison of the no-zone. Dr. Robotnik seizes the opportunity to form a deadly alliance with Scourge, Dr. finitevus and the dark legion. 

All three forces attack the newly formed republic of Acorn, killing a few members in their wake including tail's parents. The attack left Tails with a near fatal wound similar to Scourges scar on his chest

Through out the years after, Tails due to the trauma, his confidence in the technological field plummeted. The dysfunction of his devices and tech had wore done on the Freedom fighters, who had depended on his Scientific mind to help advance them forward in the war.

A majority decided due to his mental state and decline in developing new devices/techonolgy for them to use, he was now deadweight to the on going rebellion. Freedom Hq had came into a meeting to discuss further action on the matter. Sonic originally opposed the idea, but he was slowly convinced that Tails maybe needed to take time away as a Freedom Fighter. As they suggested a number of shelters he could be send to,  Tails ( who was now 13 ) had eaves-dropped on the meeting. Confronting them in a rage feeling betrayed and alienated, he threw his Freedom Fighter badge to the ground at their feet, leaving the base in a fury. No matter how hard the team searched and called for him, they couldn't find the fox. He dissapeared, a freedom fighter no more. 

He left new mobotropolis and ventured out on his own after a , pursuing sciences in medicine, always sending supplies to the families residing in New Mobotropolis, in hopes that they can receive proper medical attention in his absence.

7 years later and grown, He is bitter, cynical, and has lost faith in the moral values he came to cherish, and those he trusted. All he does is tamper with his machines, confined to his lab of solitude and to the confines of his mind. He distrusts anyone except himself, including sonic and even his Aunt Sally. 

Sonic, eventually tracking him down pleaded him to come back. now lacking the genius they once had and took for granted, plead him to re-consider and come back to help but tails see's it as an convenience to them since Dr.Robotnik's alliance has pushed them to a corner, nearly to the end of their rope and rescources. He simply refused to be involved and turned him down.


The hedgehog refused to take no for an answer but when Tails actually came to blows with him, it Shocked, and left Sonic heart broken. When he reported to HQ, the news hit the team hard.

What is left of the Tails they knew, no one knows now.

He resides in the abandoned Echidna ruins on Angel Island .
